Welcome aboard!
At Coracle Voyager, you can look forward to original speculative fiction short stories and serials, with occasional non-fiction commentary or community pieces. I enjoy experimenting with different sub-genres and voices. To date I have published a variety of more-or-less standalone short stories and a serial novel, Destination Europa, a psychological sci-fi thriller set aboard the R. G. Leifr on its voyage to the moons of Jupiter.
About the author
I’m a Scottish writer of speculative fiction, based in the Outer Hebrides. Originally trained in experimental particle physics, a circuitous career path eventually led me to English teaching and writing. Someday, I’d love the writing to be a full-time job.
SDG Lemaître is a pen name. Kudos to anyone who can guess its significance! ✨
Authors I enjoy and who influence my work to greater or lesser extent include (in no particular order) Ray Bradbury, Jeff Vandermeer, Ted Chiang, Ursula Le Guin, Robin Hobb, Isaac Asimov, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Brandon Sanderson and many more. You might also stumble on some Star Trek references here and there..
