That was awesome! Absolutely love the way things changes in unsettling, absurdist, and surreal ways while still maintaining the foreboding and suspense!

This was really dreamy, with the fantasy and the cyberpunk atmosphere blending together. Yes, I think there's cyberpunk here with the dreary weather and the architecture. I really like it.

Thank you! I hadn’t thought of it as cyberpunk but it’s cool when someone else sees something you didn’t notice when writing! 😎

I've read a few of the different Blackwater entries now, but this is one is special in how well you manage to capture the feeling of a nightmare in text. The way the surrealist images shuffle in ways that are both subtle and snappy builds an amazing sense of unease throughout this first part of the story.

I have to say, it's got me excited to read the second half.

Thank you! That is a great compliment! 😊

This was such a fun and unsettling read! I’ll have to head over to part 2 as soon as I can. Your twist on the vampire mythology worked really well in a dream setting, and I especially loved the reference to Stoker!

I adore the way you've written this and the a stream of consciousness style. It's so physical and yet not? I feel like I have to read this twice in the best way. There are so many little details that I want to return to. Fantastic!
