Just so you know, Caitriana (what a cool name?), I don't usually get emails when you post something new, it might be something to look into. I usually find out news from you by looking at the notes.
wow! ive Never seen that surname NicNeacail... McNichol for sure...its so unusual and cool! pleased to meet you! Sedge is much easier to type however 😆 and heres me just today thinking i should maybe have a pseudonym but probably too late now!
maybe just a change of photo!
thanks for the wee summary of what you've been up to...think i missed some of these (so much reading...so little time...)
Thanks Nick! It’s because in Gaelic, women use “Nic” (“daughter of”) like men use “Mac” (“son of”). So it’s basically “daughter of Nichol”. You see it in Irish too, when women have a surname with Ni-something. (But when using English, women generally just use the Mac form, that’s usually what’s on birth certificates etc too).
Agreed on the struggle to find time for all the reading one wants to do! I have a list in my inbox as long as my arm, including plenty of your own that I want to get to!!
I like you now use a firm of your real name. It makes you more personable. Someone whobyiu can invite over for tea! 🤗🥰

Glad it was an easy fix!! Phew! 😅
Huh, that’s weird. You don’t have that with other people?
Thanks for letting me know!
Fixed it. Your emails were in the spam folder. I'll check my filters.
Um… I’ll check.
Yay! I am happily awaiting new adventures. Though your "new" Gaelic name is too Celtic for my Anglo-Irish brain to remember. Ha!

It's good to learn something every day! Hope you find something of mine that tickles, Ms. NicNeacail (sorry couldn't resist that) 😀
Hi Caitriana!
Love seeing all these big moves! I'll keep my eyes on this space 👀
Can't wait for a whole new story and so much more! Big changes are coming all around it seems!
Hi! 😁 Gotta say it feels kinda nice giving people a real name to greet with! 😁
Hello Sedge! We see you!
